The star of Transparent has flagged he is leaving the show in the wake of being blamed for improper conduct.

"I don't perceive how I can return," Jeffrey Tambor said in an announcement.

A week ago the Emmy-winning performer said he was "not a predator" after two transgender ladies taking a shot at the Amazon indicate made cases against him.

Tambor again communicated lament if his activities had been "confused" yet denied he had ever "purposely harass[ed] anybody".

His clear takeoff from the Amazon dramatization takes after reports the studio was researching claims he acted improperly towards his own collaborator.

This provoked Trace Lysette, a performing artist on the show, to blame him for squeezing himself against her while taping the show's second season.

"Playing Maura Pfefferman on Transparent has been one of the best benefits and innovative encounters of my life," Tambor said on Sunday.

"What has turned out to be clear finished the previous weeks, in any case, is this is not any more the activity I agreed to accept four years back.

"I've officially clarified my profound lament if any activity of mine was ever confounded by anybody as being forceful, yet the possibility that I would purposely bother anybody is just and completely false.

"Given the politicized environment that appears to have tormented our set, I don't perceive how I can come back to Transparent."

Tambor is the most recent in a string of Hollywood on-screen characters to be blamed for inappropriate behavior in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein charges.

Amazon had allegedly as of now been investigating courses for the show to proceed without its 73-year-old lead.
