The sister of a British lady confronting drug sneaking charges in Egypt has apologized to the nation's authorities.

Laura Plummer, 33, faces a trial blamed for entering the nation with 300 Tramadol tablets, a painkiller legitimate in the UK yet not in Egypt.

She is in police care in Hurghada anticipating a hearing date.

Her sister Rachel told authorities she had "unexpectedly fouled up" and apologized for "conveying such inconvenience to your nation".

It isn't certain whether the conciliatory sentiment has been seen by the specialists, who have not remarked.

In any case, in light of the conciliatory sentiment, Ms Plummer's MP Karl Turner, portrayed her as a "not too bad, reputable" subject who had "accomplished something truly senseless".

Ms Plummer, a shop associate from Hull, claims she was conveying the pills for her Egyptian accomplice, Omar Caboo, who experiences back agony.

She has been held in a cell, which she needs to impart to 25 other ladies.

n an announcement, Rachel said she "might want to put on record our appreciation for the reasonableness and just way the Egyptian equity framework has appeared towards Laura".

"We understand Laura has accidentally fouled up according to the Egyptian experts; an absolutely blameless activity that has brought about her being held in guardianship by the police in Hurghada," she said.

"Laura, alongside every one of us, cherishes Egypt and upon visits to see Laura we have been content with the expert and reasonable way the cops have been with Laura and we might want to apologize for conveying such inconvenience to your nation."

Ms Plummer's dad Neville and her other sister, Jane, said the announcement was not issued for their benefit and have made no further remark.
